You might have already seen bits of it, in the post about my white, histrybounding skirt...
Now, here is the whole piece, because, yes, I have knitted another Bicycle Sweater, this time in white
To be honest, the red one, I've knitted a couple of years ago, was made, when I was many kg's more, and even then, what just not too big. I was thinking, if I should frog it, or what, but you know me. If something is really done, it is done. I would have a hard time with it, and I much rather make another one.
Besides, you also know, that I have a thing for white clothes, and I wanted a white one.
Yes, partly to wear with my white skirt. When I made the first one, I did read some of the patterns that is available around (some even free, some in books I own), and did my own thing.
This time, I took out my red sweater, and I changed whan I wanted to change from that one, and once again, did my own thing.
The yarn is DROPS Karisma, the white color. Not the off white, and I cannot say enough, how happy I am that DROPS offers real white shade on some of their yarns. Even if it is not optical white (see the shade compared with the skirt), but much whiter than the "natural" and the "wool-white" shade that is generally available.I bought it last year, at one of their supersale discount, but it turned out the 700 gramms were not enough, I had to order three extra ball.
Luckily, even though the dye-lot was not the same, the color was, and you cannot see, where I had to add the new one.
Yarn: DROPS Karisma
Needles: 2,5 mm, 3 mm
