white, white..

Last summer a sudden urge to have a hite crochet top hit me. I have no idea where it came from, but it was so strong I kinda dropped everything and rushed to teh second hand store, where incidently there was a few balls of white cotton yarn.

As soon as I got home I started to work on the rounds, then on the smaller motifs between, but by the time I picked up the stitches for the ribbed parts fall came with a venegance, and I put it aside.

I tried to take it out from time to time, but I have to admit, knitting miles of two by two ribbing with a 2 mm needle is not my idea of exciting kniting.

But there came the last few week at the university, with lectures where my professors let me knit (I did asked) and a lot of empty hours on the train, where especially coming home in the evening I wouldn't be able to do anything requiring more thought that mindless knitting, so finished, here it is. Now, all I need is a sumer date :-)
