Strong opinion that is. Last week I mused on what should I call this, because I am not even sure, I want to post these weekly, but for now, I will just let this one pass. If I have a better idea (or someone comes up with a better one - I am all ears, comment away), I might change it.
Anyhow, for today something that came up in one of my knitting groups.
Sleeveless, summerknits are contradictions in term. I have knitted (and crocheted) my share of sleeveless tops, back, when knitting became so popular in the early 2000's, but I realized that... If it is warm enough for sleeveless tops, then any knitted item is way to hot. If it is cool enough to wear (hand)knitted stuff, then it is way t o cold for sleeveless tops. I know there are a bunch of pretty designs around there, I still love the shape of the Coachella (from the 2007 Knitty Summer issue), so much, I even knitted one, but never used.
And now that I looked up my original blogpost about that I see, that my opinion was the same, even back then.
What do you think? Do you like handknitted sleeveless tops? If so, why not? Or why yes? Which pattern?
