So, I've been thinking that if I am about to do this everyday-blogging stuff, I will have to (or should I say, I might just have to?) have some recurring themes.
Some will be light, to ease the daily posting, others will be longer.
The weekly strong opinion (née whatshouldIcallit) will be one of these, the picture with no (or very short) comment is another one. Of course a fully blown finished item (either of knitting or sewing, or whatever else) with how's and why's, along with what worked and whatnot, like yesterdays's post on a semi-succesful attempt of a 17th century kirtle. Most probably there will be stop-procrastinating posts with things I kept procrastinating but finally done, and there are the obvious in progress types, like today's what's on my needles. These will be light posts, or quick and dirty, and I will go into the what, how and why analyzations in the finished item post, whenever I will get around to write that (which very well might be months, or even years later). Of course, if there is a comment, or question, put them in the comments, I will try my bets to touch on it on the final post.
Anyhow, long story short, what is on my needles nowadays?
For example, this hat.
I had about half of the pink handdyed yarn, I have knitted that lacy neckwarmer from left after I finished the cowl, so I was thinking I might as knit something to go with it. I was going back-and forth between some fingerless mittens and a hat, but then I decided on the hat. Choosing the actual pattern did take me a while, as I wanted to let the handdyed-ness of the pink yarn (and I really do not know the right English word) "shine", while doing some colorwork.
